Senior Software Engineer

Pay Lynxs is a small, fast growing, software company that works with some of the largest banks in the world to install, host and operate an international money transfer service to help make it easier for people to send money home. Pay Lynxs operates as an Application Service Provider. Pay Lynxs started in January 2006 and went live with the first customer in July 2007.

We are looking for a senior software engineer with strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Struts framework. This individual would be responsible for taking leadership roles to define, design and develop new functionality that is needed to expand or enhance the company's existing application service. This individual must be a self starter and be comfortable working in some client facing situations. The individual must be able to work independently as well as coordinate, guide and manage other team members to accomplish deliverables. The individual must be comfortable working in a small, geographically disperse, entrepreneurial environment where they will need to be proactive in building their knowledge base and learning the company's existing application architecture and development environments. This person will need good time management skills. Experience with financial transaction processing is a plus.
